Kayak, Canoe & Paddle Board

Slaughden welcomes all members and has space for storing and launching Kayaks, Canoes and Paddle boards. In addition to storing your own boats there are also two club kayaks (one sit in and one sit on) available to hire for members wishing to try the sport.

The club has an active paddlesport membership with several trips bookable through the club website and opportunities to find paddling buddies.

As well as full membership we offer daily Temporary Paddlesport membership. Temporary Paddlesport members are permitted to visit 4 times a year. In addition they must:

• Be booked in and accompanied by an existing member.
• Wear a buoyancy aid and suitable clothing for the conditions on the day.
• Hold third party insurance for their vessel
• Book and pay for club kayaks separately.
• Abide by all club rules and regulations.
